Plum Coulee's first official school building on record was a converted house.  The date it opened is unknown.

This picture was taken in 1917, and the teacher was Miss. Mary Derksen.

In 1919, this much larger school was built of stone.

It was later destroyed by a fire in 1931.

New school built in 1931.

Served the town for 50 years, when it was replaced by the present elementary school in 1984.
